Can you believe that it is almost time for our youth and chaperones to leave for Lutherock? I'm sure everyone is very excited about the upcoming trip!
A few reminders:
- Please be at the church at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday so everything can get loaded into the trailer. The estimated departure time is 10:00 p.m. on Saturday.
- Please make sure you put your camper's suitcase and sleeping bag in garbage bags and clearly mark your child's name on the outside of each garbage bag.
- If your camper needs to take prescription medication please make sure to bring the medication along with the attached form (completed) and provide to one of the chaperones for safe-keeping.
- We will get a phone call on Sunday from the chaperones letting us know that they made it to Lutherock. We will start a phone tree to contact everyone to let them know that the group made it there on time.
- Next Saturday we will get a phone call next Saturday when the group is about 2 hours away. We will start another phone tree to contact everyone to let them know the approximate time of arrival back at the church.
- Please respond back to this e-mail with the best phone number(s) to reach you at for the phone tree on Sunday and the phone tree next Saturday.
- The folks at Lutherock do take photos throughout the week and they post them on www.bunk1.com. Erik Mathre (one of our fearless chaperones) also takes a lot of great pictures and will post them on the LCC youth website when he gets a chance to get somewhere that has a decent internet connection, etc. Be sure to check out both sites to see photos of your camper in action!
